Chairman’s Chatter

It was good to see so many of the club at Mick Rich’s funeral. He was a special person and his modelling skills with simple materials were second to none. The collection to go to the chosen charity, with the club’s donation included, amounted to £200.00. Thank you for the extra donations.

EM gauge matters

Mawgan Porth is currently moth-balled to allow Portland to be tested. Once repositioned, all hands to get ready for the next outing to Salisbury.

0 Gauge matters

We appear to have DCC at Canal Junction MPD now so running can re-commence in either mode as required.

I am pleased to say the Otterbourne Open Day for the 0 gauge group is going ahead this year. We have decided to make a charge of £5.00 for entry which will include the usual ploughman’s lunch. Whilst I am receiving help from the group, I do hope some of you will come along and see what is on offer.

Other Business.

I am confident that the Potters Heron will be back in business by next February! We were lucky it happened when it did.
